~ The Softest Sunsets ~

The softest sunsets
always follow
the days of clear
cleansing rain
~
The softest rays
of Heaven's Light
can only be fealt
in the soul of a sinner
forgiven.

Song ~ When Time Shall Be No More

See the sun set in the west,
Soon will come a day of rest,
Soon this world will fade away,
And time shall be no more...

Chorus:
Then we will fly away to Heaven's shore,
Find peace and joy forevermore,
Eternal life with Christ the Lord,
And time shall be no more.

See, there is no time to spare,
Now the Gospel we must share,
With the world we love and care for,
E're time shall be no more...

Keep your eyes on Heav'n above,
Fill your heart with Jesus' love,
Soon this world will fade away,
And time shall be no more.

~ Teach Me ~ Song

~
Teach me a little melody,
Teach me a little song,
Teach me a little harmony,
And teach me to to sing along.
~
Teach me to love my Savior,
Teach me to love my King,
Teach me the love of God above,
And teach my heart to sing.
~
Teach me to be a servant,
Teach me to be a friend,
Teach me to be a helper,
And teach me my faith to defend.
~
Teach me to look to Jesus,
Teach me to watch and pray,
Teach me to be more patient,
And teach me to to trust and obey.

Song ~ King of Kings

King of Kings,
And Lord of Lords,
Our Everlasting Father;
Let us praise His Holy Name,
And glorify Him forever!

Chorus:
Let us lift our voices up in song,
Let us share the gospel of His Son,
Let the whole world know the reason why,
The Son of God was born to die,
That sinners, just like you and I,
Might know the love of God.

King of Kings,
And Lord of Lords,
Our Everlasting Father;
Let us trust in His Holy Name,
His faithfulness is forever!

King of Kings,
And Lord of Lords,
Our Everlasting Father;
Let us honor His Holy Name,
And love our Lord forever!

Poetry ~ God's Gift To Me

I have always loved to write,
Morning, noon, and night;
It seems no matter what the time,
In a moment-inspired-I'll start to rhyme!

It's always been a lot of fun;
I like to share my poems with everyone!
But especially the ones that mean the most,
And praise the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

My Saviour gave his life for me--
To the glory of God may my poetry be!

Smile! :)

A smile can say a silent hello,
When you feel to shy to say "hi".
A smile can say a silent goodbye,
When you feel your about to cry.

A smile can comfort,
A smile can cheer,
A smile can take away a tear.

A smile can brighten a persons day,
When troubles come, and the skies are grey.
A smile can show that you really care,
When you meet someone "in the depths of despair".

A smile can encourage,
A smile can delight,
A smile can shine in the darkest night.

A smile can make you laugh, in spite of yourself,
Why, smiling improves your general health!
If smiles were riches,
I'd share my wealth.

Smile! :)

"Dear Lord, about my eyes..."

My eyes are bad;
it's hard to see,
But no one has to feel
sorry for me.

I need new contacts--
this is true;
People are blurry,
but I still see You.

Sometimes my vision
feels so impared!
It's then I remember my
troubles are shared.

When life's trials abound,
It's a comfort to know:
I have a dear Friend,
Who is always around.
And I know...

You will lead me
Where You want me
to go.

~ The Hummingbird ~

One day, a hummingbird I saw,
As tiny as a bumblebee.

I had no fear as I came near,
To see this creature, brave free.

He had a beak, so shiny black;
An emerald vest and scarlet cap.

Actually, I was just inspired by the thought of how pretty hummingbirds look, but if I did see one... I'm sure these would be my thoughts exactly. :) Isn't God's creation something wonderful? Surely worth praising and thanking the Lord for every moment of every day!
