Song ~ Trust In The Lord

(Verses are Proverbs 3:5-7, and 9)
~
Verse 1:
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart,
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths."
~
Chorus for 1st Verse:
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart,
And He will be faithful to you;
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart,
And see what the Lord can do!
~
Verse 2:
"Be not wise in thine own eyes:
Fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Honour the LORD with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thy increase:"
~
Chorus for 2nd Verse:
Give Him the praise and glory,
Worship Him all your days,
Give Him the praise and glory,
And He will direct your ways.

Just trust in the Lord!

Raindrops

Whenever I hear the sweet sound,
Of raindrops on the roof overhead,
My eyes come alight, full of sparkles!
And my cheeks glow all rosy red.

I turn to the window, delighted!
To see all the raindrops fall down;
I want to be right out there in them,
To laugh, sing, and run all around!

To the door I fly, for to open,
As if to let all of them in!
Then I smell the sweet smell of raindrops,
That pulls me full foreward and in.

My face, o what joy! starts a tingling,
As I lift up my face to implore;
I think of my Jesus, and thank Him,
And ask for just one raindrop more...

In return, I am showered with blessings,
And I open my mouth for to sing!
Though my song may be mingled with raindrops,
Aren't raindrops such wonderful things? :)

Song ~ Just One More Day

Just one more day, have I to live,
Just one more day, my life to give,
Just one more day, and Christ may come,
To lift me up and take me home.

Just one more day, have I to work,
Just one more day, to share God's Word,
Just on more day, and Christ may come,
And all my work on earth be done.

Just one more day, have I to share,
With those who need His loving care,
One day to pray, "May souls be won",
Just one more day, and Christ may come!

Just one more hour, have I to sing,
Just one more hour, my cares to bring,
To God, who sent His only Son,
Just one more hour, and Christ may come!

R.A.M.

Matthew 24:44-46
"44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing."

Song ~ There Bloomed A Rose

There bloomed a Rose,
By Galilee,
A snow-white Rose,
Beside the sea...

There died a Rose,
At Calvary,
A scarlet Rose,

Upon a tree...

He lay in a tomb,

Three days and nights...
Then arose the Rose,
E'er dawn's first light!

Now blooms a Rose,
In Heav'n above,
A golden Rose,
Of Light and Love!

~ To The Glory Of God ~

1 Corinthians 10:31
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink,
or whatsoever ye do,
do all to the glory of God."

I love God, and I love to read the Word of God.

I would rather read the books of the Bible,
Then read any other books.

I would rather write out the verses of Scripture,
Then write out any other verses.

I would rather memorize the Words of God,
Then memorize any other words.

I have always loved to read and write.
From the hour I learned how to read in my mind,
my mind has not ceaced to love reading.

One day, as I was reading my Bible, God spoke to
my heart through His Word, and I accept Jesus Christ
as my personal Lord and Savior. The more I read my
Bible, the more I grow in God's love.

I started writing my first journal when I was eleven,
and by the time I was twelve I had written my first poem.
Since then I have written several more journals,
many more poems, a host of E-mails, and a handful
of letters.

Here is one of my very first poems:
(I gave it no title, but I did give it a verse)

"... the whole earth is full of his glory." Isaiah 6:3

Mountains, valleys,
Streams and lakes,
Birds and Butterflys,
No man can make,
But God can make them,
God has created them,
God made you,
The animals too,
And all things are made new.

From the very start, God has been the center of,
and the reason for the poetry that I write. God
has helped me to write, and given me the inspiration
and desire to write. The more I write, the more I
wonder at the beauty and truth of the Bible.
The Word of God is truly the greatest book in the world,
and it's Author the greatest Poet in the universe.
If I, through my poems, can better share His Word...
and sow the precious seed in the heart of even
one person,
then it will we worth it all.

Song ~ By His Love

By His love,
God made the oceans wide,
And all creatures that
within the deep waters bide...

By His love,
God made the mountains high,
And the golden plains
beneath the clear blue sky...

By His love,
God made each flower that blooms,
The sun, and rain, and rainbows...

By His love,
God made every star,
In the heavens, near and far.

By His love,
God made each boy and girl,
Every mother, father, loved one.

By His love,
Jesus saves us from our sin,
If we only believe in Him.

More then rythm...

More then rythm,
More then rhymn,
More then stanzas,
More then lines,

Is the reason,
Is The Light,
In every poem,
That you write.

Sincerely

Though I speak a million words of loving kindness,
Though I give my all with sure and good intent,
Yet, in my heart be insincere, unthankful,
My deeds lose all the good they ever meant.

Ruth A. Meyer

2 Corinthians 1:12 "For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward."

Joy is a smile from Jesus

Joy isn't happiness.
Joy isn't cheer.
Joy is a peace from Jesus,
That calms all our doubts
And our fears.

Joy isn't comfort.
Joy isn't pleasure.
Joy is a gift,
Jesus gives,
Without measure.

Joy isn't glee.
Joy isn't delight.
Joy is a strength from Jesus,
That encourages us
To do right.

Joy is a smile from Jesus!
More then this sinful world gives.
Joy is the truth of Salvation!
True joy is knowing ~
Jesus lives!

Sunshine, how I love it!
Sunshine makes me glad.
Sunshine lifts the shadows,
And makes me no longer sad.

Jesus is my Sunshine!

Jesus, how I love Him!
Jesus makes me glad.
Jesus lifts the shadows,
And makes me no longer sad.
