How can I keep my gaze on Thee?

How can I teach my eyes to see?

How can my heart more faithful be?

Hebrews 12:1-3 

"1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about 

with so great a cloud of witnesses, 

let us lay aside every weight, and the sin 

which doth so easily beset us, 

and let us run with patience 

the race that is set before us, 

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher 

of our faith; who for the joy that was 

set before him endured the cross, 

despising the shame, and is set down 

at the right hand of the throne of God. 

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction 

of sinners against himself, 

lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."

I've learned to give when I'm in need.

I've learned to blossom mid the weeds.

I've learned to sing when life has deafened me.

I've learned to walk when I can't see...

It's grace! The grace of God alone!

His grace! The mercy of my Lord and King! 

Is the reason, through it all, I can sing.

I heard the truth, when I was lost.

Oh, what might happen, if we really cared!

Oh, how many hearts and lives would be spared!

How many souls eternally won,

If we really believed our job's not done.

God sees the trial you're going through.

God knows when you don't know what to do.

God cares, when your fears are coming true.

God is love, and He'll be there for you.

Some days I need a little more,

And, I know, I must knock upon God's door,

But, I'm afraid I won't know just what to say;

It's then I kneel and trembling pray...

I need a little more grace to get me through today.

I need a little more faith to teach me how to pray.

I need a little more peace to comfort me, when I don't understand.

I need a little more light to help me see God's plan.

Dear friend, who's in a storm today,

Be not afraid! God is with you all the way.

Trust the Savior who stood on Galilee,

For, He who rides the wind still calms the sea.

God sees the trial you're going through.
