Silver and gold have I none,
But such as I have give I thee.

You may find treasure in rubies and diamonds;
You may find treasure in silver and gold.
I will not care when these all pass away;
My Heavenly Father has riches untold.

My Father is building great mansions in Heaven.
He's paving the streets with the purest of gold.
But more than the mansions and more than the gold,
I'm longing for Heaven, His face to behold!

For I have found treasure in loving-kindness;
I have found treasure in reading God's Word.
I will not care when the world fades away;
I'm going to see my Father one day.

You may find treasure in earthly possessions;
You may find treasure in things of this world,
But where your treasure is, your heart will be also,
So lay up for yourself great treasures above.
