~ Where Will You Place Your Faith Today ~

The word of the world you just can't trust,

But the Word of God you can.

Where will you place your faith today?

In the Word of God or man?

The word of the world is fallible.

It changes every day.

It draws you in and tears you down,

And it takes your life away.

But God's Word will always be

A light of truth for you and me,

To lift us up and help us stand,

'Til the day we sing in Glory Land.

The world will say, "We're friends" today,

But they won't really care.

Tomorrow they will walk away,

And leave you standing there.

But God said, "I will never leave you",

Every trial He will help you through.

He died for me; He died for you.

His love is eternal, tried and true.
