One day, as the world was flying past,
And the wind of the world blew rash,
As I saw mankind's darkened lands,
I found that I was in God's hands.
I looked down at the dust,
From which man was made,
And upon a stone,
My eyes were laid...
Then all the world came to a halt!
On that rock a creature was,
It was folding its delicate wings,
And I saw the peace that God's love gives,
Oh how my heart did sing!
For I know that I'm under His command,
He holds me tight in His loving hands.
Though the works of man did not cease,
In that moment, I felt peace.

I know it doesn't say in the poem, but this poem is about a butterfly I saw one day. My family was driving somewhere in our car, when we came to a stoplight, and I looked down to see a small butterfly resting on a stone by the side of the road. I was so inspired on seeing it, that I just had two write a poem. Thus, not many days later, I wrote this poem.
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Beautiful. I can't think of anything else that describes this so well. Sigh! Keep up the good writing!
